Gear

This post should exhibit what a sweet life Ramona has. The first picture is of Ramona touching the lobster that we were to eat later on that night. When she first saw the living lobster, I was afraid she wasn't going to understand when we had to cook it. However, the first thing she said when she saw it was "meat!". Like mother, like daughter.

The second picture is of Ramona "listening" to a book her grandma was reading to her. Not exactly a captive audience.

The third picture is of Ramona in the bike trailer we bought for her (and for the future babes). She seems to like it, but we have yet to take it on the road. It was Justin's fathers day present, and I think they are going to have a lot of fun with it.

The fourth picture is of Ramona "helping" to frost cupcakes with grandma Fenton. She ate a lot of frosting, and was a little wild that night.

The last picture is of Ramona in her new sleeping bag. Its a little big for her, but I think it will be fun going camping with her sleeping next to us, instead of a huge pack and play. We'll see.

Its a girl!

We are very excited to be having another girl, since the first one has been so much fun. Plus, we get to use all those cute clothes again!

Giraffe is tall

"Pet on the back"
"Monkey, eee, eee, ohh, ohh"
"Giraffe is tall" Imagine hand raising up to the sky.
"Baby gorilla, mama gorilla" Imagine hands thumping on chest.
Ramona loves the zoo, and we try to go every week. Her latest fascination is the giraffe, though past favorites have been the gorilla, the hippos and the jaguar ("rawr!"). She hasn't quite gotten excited about the penguins, no matter how hard the zoo tries to push them on her. I also enjoy the zoo quite a bit, it is such a relaxing place to walk around.......and my favorite animal is the gorilla. The baby gorilla is almost the same age as Ramona and it has been amazing to watch it grow at the same pace as Ramona.

Big Girl Bed

She loves it! She has slept through the night twice without getting out of bed (we're not sure she even knows she can get out). We can't believe how big she is!

going Home

Last weekend we went to my family's cabin with Kim. We had a really relaxing trip, besides the fireworks that were being set off next door at the time that Ramona went to bed, and Max's daring escape at the same time. We found out that there is a new park only a few blocks away that is really great for Ramona (and future children). We're excited to go to the cabin more often this summer!
