Disneyland, part two.

Didn't Ruby look cute in her dress day two?  I had to take a picture of her on Main Street in the sun with the flowers behind her.  Ruby was wearing her swimming shoes today, since she didn't really have any shoes since her Cinderella moment the day before.  We went to Dumbo first, as soon as the park opened, because we heard that there were long lines there sometimes.  Ruby and Ramona LOVED it.  Since I'm kind of a ride wimp, this ride was perfect for me too.  Ramona could see the Tangled "castle" from up high on the ride, which is really just an existing building with some fake hair coming out of the window.  She obsessed about that window all day.

Then, we went on quite a few rides.  We did the Teacups (which I swore I wouldn't go on, but by the end of the day, I'd gone twice!), the Alice and Wonderland ride.  Then, we went on the Jungle Cruise (exactly the same as it used to be, with all the corny jokes included), and risked a Ramona freak out by going on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.  The Pirates ride was a little scary, it had two small drops, a lot of drunk pirates, and one part where there are loud cannons shooting.  Both kids were a little scared, and it didn't help that there was a kid behind us who actually was freaking out.  In the end, Ramona seemed fine, but she made it clear that she didn't want to go on the pirate ride again.  She was actually very proud of herself for being brave, she doesn't get as scared as she used to, she is definitely getting bigger.  After the Pirates, we switched it up and went on the Winnie the Pooh ride, which was perfect for her age group.  It was a very cheery ride.
More to come......something happened with my blog, and it erased the rest of my entry, so I need to take a frustration break.  Since I've already written it once, I'm sure it will come easy to me, right?
